THE MEANING OF LIFE
I always knew I would be a graphic designer. As a kid, I was definitely a visual and creative little person. I grew up in like any other middle-class family in the 80’s – the pre-internet and pre-technology days – where we were honestly forced to be creative.
Throughout grade school, I found myself obsessing over Typography and grids, magazines and newspaper design where my true love.
Over the course of nearly 15 years I designing and art directing and some top Portuguese Newspappers and magazines, i still miss those days when Print ruled!
Then came the golden years of Agency Work, in 2007 I joined Cunha Vaz and associates as Creative Director and production director, where I worked for 10 years, developing graphic projects mainly corporate editorial magazines for clients such as KPMG, Barclays Bank to name a few. At this time all the desktop publishing changed to Indesign and all the Adobe tools and I naturally made this transition, including doing a corse in Digital field, such as Digital Art Director, a SRUM/AGILE in the EDIT (Disruptive Digital Education).
In 2018 BLACK DOG was born, a mix of my NewFound Land dog and my passion for Led Zeppelin IV first song… Hey hey mama said the way you move, Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you Groove…
Since then I has been the a hell of a Journey, check it out on my portfolio!

Don´t confuse legibility with communication. Just because something is legible doesn’t mean it communicates and, more importantly, doesn’t mean it communicates the right thing.
Graphic Design will save the world right after rock and roll does.
